Veterans Reentry Courts are a new concept in Veteran’s Courts, that focuses on the needs and risks associated with Veterans as they leave prisons and jails. Combining the resources and assistance that Veterans Courts provide with the intensive supervision and community, inherent in “Reentry Courts”, Veterans Reentry courts will serve both the Veteran returning to the community and the community itself.
This hybrid concept is just a part of the Veteran’s Court movement, and should be viewed as a part the larger subject of Veterans Courts which is fully and effectively covered by the Justice For Vets website on the AllRISE network.
